User Settings for Firewall
You are able to allow access to Libraries and IFS directories based on the name of the user.
To change user settings, select 3. User Settings from the iSecurity (part I) Global Parameters screen (STRFW > 81), as shown in Configuring Firewall.
The User Settings screen appears.
User Settings Type choices, press Enter. User is allowed to: Library, if Library=UsrPrf . . . . N Y=Yes, N=No Dir, if it is his UsrPrf home dir. Y Y=Yes, N=No Dir, if his UsrPrf appends prefix. N Y=Yes, N=No If Y, prefix is (e.g. /home/) . /home/ F3=Exit F12=Previous |
Library, if Library=UsrPrf
Y=Yes: The user has unlimited access to his library that has the same name as the user ID.
Dir, if it is his UsrPRf home dir
Y=Yes: The user has unlimited access to his home directory as specified in the user profile HOMEDIR parameter.
Dir, if his UsrPrf appends prefix
Y=Yes: The user has unlimited access to the directory, which includes the prefix and the name that is equal to his user ID. For example, if you have specified /test/, a user JOE has unlimited access to /test/JOE directory.
